I wanted to make a piece of jewellery reminiscent of the comfort of a small bowl of dal (lentils) and rice. The idea was to make it personal, yet interesting. The 'Battalu' pendant chain brings together smooth, gentle curves and a beautiful hand hammered texture; these contrasting surfaces
